Char-Grilled Mushroom Steaks
Ingredients
- 16 Oz. Highline Mushrooms Portabella Caps, stems removed
- 4 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
- 5 ml Liquid Smoke
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- 1 Tbsp. Garlic, minced
- Feta Cheese, crumbled for garnish
- Green Onions, sliced for garnish
- Black Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- To make marinade, combine soy sauce, liquid smoke, salt, olive oil and garlic in a large bowl. Add mushrooms and marinate for 20 minutes. Heat the grill to a medium heat, and brush lightly with olive oil.
- Grill mushrooms for 5 minutes on one side and 2 minutes on the other side while brushing them with the remaining marinade.
- Garnish with feta, green onions, and black pepper to taste before serving.
