Cheese Bread
Ingredients
- 1 Loaf Round Sourdough Bread
- 1 Lb. Pepper Jack Cheese, sliced
- 1/2 C. Butter, melted
- 2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
- 2 Tbsp. Dijon Mustard
- 1 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp. Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp. Celery Salt
- Fresh or Dried Chives, optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cut bread into 1” slices, stopping 1/2” from the bottom of loaf. Repeat cuts in opposite direction.
- Insert cheese into cuts.
- Mix all remaining ingredients except chives; drizzle over bread.
- Wrap in foil, place on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
- Unwrap and continue baking until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown, about 10 minutes longer.
- Sprinkle with fresh or dried chives and serve warm.
