Ingredients
- 1 Lb. Pork Loin, thinly sliced
- 2 C. Bell Pepper, thinly sliced
- 1/2 C. Onion, thinly sliced
- 4 C. Brown Rice, cooked
- 1 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
For The Sauce:
- 1/4 C. Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- 1/4 C. Honey
- 1/4 C. Water
- 3 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 tsp. Arrowroot Powder
- 5 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/4 Tbsp. Red Chili Pepper Flakes
Instructions
For Flat Top Grilling:
- Spread 1 Tbsp. Olive oil on flat top surface set at medium-high heat.
- Add the pork, bell peppers, and onions. Sautee until the pork is cooked to 165F and the vegetables are softened.
- Next, add the rice and spread it out to cook.
- Meanwhile, mix all of the sauce ingredients together in a bowl or measuring cup.
- Pour the sauce over the rice, vegetables, and pork. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
For Stovetop:
- Heat 1 Tbsp. Olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the pork, bell peppers, and onions. Sautee until the pork is cooked to 165F and the vegetables are softened.
- Next, add the rice and spread it out to cook.
- Meanwhile, mix all of the sauce ingredients together in a bowl or measuring cup.
- Pour the sauce over the rice, vegetables, and pork. Cook for about 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
