Perfect Ribeye Steaks
Ingredients
Garlic Herbed Butter
- 1 Stick Butter, softened
- 1 1/2 tsp. Lemon Juice
- 1/2 tsp. Salt or to taste
- 1 Clove Garlic, minced
- 3 Tbsp. Freshly Chopped Parsley
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Freshly Chopped Basil, Oregano & Rosemary, to taste
- 1/4 tsp. Black Pepper
Steaks
- 2 Ribeye Steaks, 1” thick
- 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil or Vegetable Oil
- Steak Seasoning or Kosher Salt & Pepper, to taste
- 2 Tbsp. Herbed Butter
Instructions
Garlic Herbed Butter
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix until well combined.
- Place on a piece of plastic wrap and roll into a log.
- Twist ends to seal well.
- Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
- Slice into rounds and enjoy on steaks, vegetables or bread.
Steaks
- Remove steaks from the fridge at least 45 minutes before cooking.
- Just before cooking, rub steaks with olive oil and generously season to taste.
- Preheat grill to medium heat (approximately 375°F).
- Grill prepared steaks 5-6 min. per side for medium-rare, or 6-7 min. per side for medium.
- Remove from the grill and top with a pat of butter, loosely tent with foil. Rest steaks 5-10 minutes before serving.
